1975 Honda CB750 Project 5
THE BASIC 36 YEAR OLD BIKE:
- This stock 1975 HONDA CB750K MODEL was purchased in 2009 in Colton California. It emerged from a storage container where it sat for several years! It has recently been on hold after a year, but is now COMPLETE!
SOME OF IT’S FEATURES ARE:
- A cosmetically re-finished, (but not re-built), engine from the ground-up, including custom “2 color tone” “Grey Iron” powder coated engine case side covers (fromSpecialized Coatings of Huntington Beach California), with various Joker Machinebillet outer case covers, Dyna S coils and electronic ignition. K&N pod filters affixed to completely restored and enhanced stock KeiHin carbs.
- A black MAC 4-into-one exhaust.
- Prototype Joker Machine billet“J-TECH” hand controls, switch housings, and CB750 specific throttle tube and housing.
- Joker Machine fully CNC machined billet triple tree (a special hard anodized version for this bike) with built-in: “lower triple clamp front brake cross-over manifold” for single disc front brakes.
- Joker Machine prototype dual piston “floating” front brake caliper with 7075-T6 rotor carriers fitted inside a Brembo rotor, mounted on a CAD designed CNC machined mounting bracket designed to mount onto 35mm 1973-on Honda lower fork legs.
- Hagon 1″ over stock length shocks in the back, and Cycle X 1″ over stock length 35mm fork tubes.
- Joker Machine prototype billet fender mounting brackets designed to fit a “two tone”H/D Sportster front fender.
- Emgo Kawasaki style 7″ headlight unit affixed to Joker Machine BILLET 3″ out 35mm headlight ears.
- A custom ordered Classic Cycle City “flip-up” Cafe’ seat assy.
- Joker Machine fully custom billet speedo/tach face plates, with internal red L.E.D.’s inside retained with Joker Machine clamp ring assemblies for the gauge housings.
- Flanders “drag bar style” 1″ dia. handlebars with concealed hand control wiring andJoker Machine 1″ L.E.D. handlebar riser and top clamps.
- Joker Machine prototyped billet rearset brackets with built-in rear brake switch bracket assy designed around Fast From The Past universal shift, brake, & peg assys.
- Joker Machine clear anodized billet brake actuation rod and brake panel strap.
- Joker Machine “Lucas style” billet L.E.D. tailight affixed to a black powdercoated Emgo cast bracket, then mounted to a modified stock CB rear fender.
- Joker Machine billet (left) hard black anodized side cover assy.
- Clear anodized Excell 18″ rim in back, and 19″ front with Bridgestone Battlax tires, both laced to stock “bronze tone” powdercoated hubs using Buchannon’s stainless steel spokes.
- Joker Machine “Square” LED turn signals fitted onto Joker Machine 3″ extension billet headlight brackets.
- Joker Machine black – billet flip-top gas cap and latch assembly, and a black “Joker” themed billet oil tank cap cover.
- Joker Machine folding 2 1/4″ cafe style bar end mirrors.
- Joker Machine swivel type all-billet aluminum oil pressure gauge assembly.
- Joker Machine prototype black anodized emblems with specially “paint filled” CNC engraved; – “Honda Joker Racing” – billet tank emblems.
